Activities and Outputs (Stages of Symposium Execution)

1. Preparatory Activities
a. Formation of Symposium Committees

Preliminary discussions regarding the symposium were held between Kilis 7 Aralık University, the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, and Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. It was decided that the 4th International Symposium on “The Practice of Coexistence in Islamic Civilization” will be hosted by Kilis 7 Aralık University in Kilis, Türkiye, on May 7-9, 2026, and the symposium organizing committee and boards have been established.

The symposium organizing committee is primarily responsible for identifying participants who will present scientific papers face-to-face and online, arranging symposium halls according to the meetings to be held, preparing the program booklet, determining the invitations to be sent, and completing registration and accreditation procedures. A Scientific and Review Committee has been established for the symposium.

b. Promotion and Announcement Activities
  • Symposium announcement
  • Printing and distribution of invitations
  • Promotion and announcement activities through local, national, and international visual and print media
  • Posters to be displayed on billboards
  • Posters to be displayed on walls and notice boards
  • Web page and e-mail communications
No symposium participation fee is required.
Travel and accommodation expenses shall be covered by the participant.

2. Implementation Activities

The program for the 4th International Symposium on “The Practice of Coexistence in Islamic Civilization,” planned to be held on May 7-9, 2026, in collaboration with Kilis 7 Aralık University, the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta, and the Azerbaijan Moral Values Promotion Fund, includes:

  • Day I Sessions
  • Day II Sessions
  • Reading of the Symposium Final Declaration and Closing
  • A “Symposium Participation Certificate” will be given to the participants.
