4th International Symposium on “The Experience of Coexistence in Islamic Civilization”
We are coming together to re-examine the experience of coexistence put forth by Islamic civilization throughout history, in the context of the social, cultural, and political issues facing today's world.
At our symposium, to be hosted by Kilis 7 Aralık University on May 7–9, 2026, the concepts of justice, peace, pluralism, and coexistence in Islamic civilization will be addressed from a multidisciplinary perspective with the participation of academics and researchers from various countries, primarily Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia.
The papers presented on the axes of society, education, and religion aim to establish a strong link between historical heritage and current issues, highlighting the contributions that Islamic intellectual heritage can offer to the common future of humanity. Papers presented at the symposium will be published in the proceedings book following the scientific review process. If they wish, authors may also publish their full texts in journals of their choice.
We are honored to invite you to our symposium, which aims to rethink the experience of coexistence in Islamic civilization, encourage academic studies in this field, and strengthen international scientific cooperation. We thank you for your valuable contributions.
Our Goal: To carry the consciousness of coexistence in Islamic Civilization from the past to the future ∞
Sincerely,
Organizing Committee
